This interactive map connects you with certified professional translators based in and around Seoul. Each pin represents a real, verified translator profile, including their location, the language pairs they work in, the document types they specialize in — immigration paperwork, apostille submissions, business contracts, family register records, and more — and whether they are currently accepting new clients. Translators who work primarily online, without a public office, are grouped in a separate Remote view, so you can reach a qualified translator no matter where you are submitting your document.

Official document translation is not the same as a general translation. Immigration offices, courts, embassies, and Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs each expect a translation to be certified in a specific way, and the exact requirement can differ by country and even by document type. Every translator on this map has had their certification checked before their profile went live, so that question is already settled before you request a quote — the certified translations listed here are accepted by MOFA, immigration offices, courts, and embassies.

Use the filters above the map to narrow results by the language pair you need — for example, Korean to English — and by whether a translator is currently accepting new clients. If nobody appears near your location, switch to the Remote view: many certified translators handle the entire job by email, since a clear scan or photo of your document is normally all that is required, with no in-person meeting necessary.

You work directly with the translator you choose. Seoul Translate does not add a markup or act as an intermediary in the engagement — the rate shown on a translator's profile, or quoted to you directly, is what you pay. Because each translator sets their own pricing, it is worth comparing a couple of profiles for your specific document and language pair, especially for less common language combinations.

Before sending a document to any translator, confirm their profile explicitly covers the language pair and document type you need, ask whether they have previously handled a submission to the specific authority you're dealing with, and get the price and turnaround time in writing before any payment changes hands. A verification badge next to a translator's name means this platform has already checked their certification as part of listing them.
